13 years old. Seven years of mainstream school, then a full year of learning by doing: maths and languages in the morning, artificial intelligence and company work in the afternoon, sport in the evening. Six countries in twelve months. English good enough that he already teaches it to others.


Who he is
Quang goes straight up to people. He asks questions, he can hold a conversation with an adult as easily as with a classmate, and he learns mainly because he finds it interesting.
He picks things up fast, connects fields that have nothing to do with each other, and gets bored when the pace drags.
His general knowledge is entirely his own doing: documentaries, reading, videos, conversations. Nobody made him do any of it.
Relaxed and self-assured, he joins a group easily and quickly finds his place in it.
Three sports a week, long days, and still something left at the end of them for a project or a game.
He works out the rules of a system before he plays. The habit comes from video games; it serves him everywhere else.
He says what he thinks, he questions decisions, and he takes an explanation far better than an order.
His journey
A deliberate choice by his parents: fall behind on nothing in the school curriculum, and put lived experience at the centre of learning.

Seven years of mainstream schooling, from Year 1 to Year 7. A stable and complete foundation.

Leaving the standard school track for a programme built by his parents, with one aim: to be at his best in the age of artificial intelligence, without falling behind academically.
Academic mornings, afternoons in a company and on projects, evenings of sport. Six Asian countries discovered from the inside.
The year delivered on the academic side and on the practical side. One thing was missing: people his own age, every day. That is the priority for the year ahead.
A full member of the class in the morning, sitting every assessment; projects, company work and sport in the afternoon. The best of both worlds, rather than a compromise between them.
What he knows
The programme is not a list of subjects to tick off. Three priorities carry most of the weight, the sciences keep the level up, and everything points towards using artificial intelligence well.
The foundation of reasoning and abstraction. The subject he works on most, the one that costs him the most effort, and the one that opens up all the others.
Speaking well, writing well, reasoning well. Expression is the visible trace of thought, and it is how you direct an artificial intelligence.
Already solid, with excellence as the target. It is the language of technology and research, and the one he teaches to other young people.
Physics, chemistry, biology, natural sciences. Studied seriously so that he stays level with a normal school curriculum, with nothing left behind.
Programming, AI tools, real projects run inside a professional team. The theory of the morning becomes a product in the afternoon.
History, geography, current affairs, humanities. Clearly above his age group, picked up on his own, out of curiosity.
How he learns
Quang does not learn well under pressure, and learns very well when something interests him or is useful to him. His programme is built on that fact rather than against it.
Faced with a problem, the first reflex is: how can AI help me do this better, or faster? AI is an instrument he steers, never an oracle that hands over the answer.
He sets up his assistant himself so that it never gives the solution, but points to the first step where the reasoning breaks. A mistake becomes a bug to fix, not a failure to pay for.
The programme is laid out as a skill tree he draws himself. Progress becomes visible, and every node he unlocks opens up others.
Every concept goes into making something real: the path of a projectile, a probability system, a first artificial neuron. The maths of the morning and the projects of the afternoon stop being two separate worlds.
He improves with immediate feedback, the way he does in sport with a coach. Feedback that arrives three days later does almost nothing for him.
What he can explain to someone else, he genuinely knows. It is the best test of depth, and he applies it to English.

Badminton, kickboxing, swimming. Several supervised sessions a week.
His feel for language
For him, language is not one subject among others. It is the tool you use to think, to persuade, to teach, and now to direct an artificial intelligence.
The language of daily life, of school and of the wider family.
He reads, watches and talks in English for pleasure. He teaches it to young people his own age, which is the best measure of how well he really knows it.
The language of home and of conversations with his parents, improving all the time.
He can hold a discussion on a complex subject without hiding behind his age, and without needless jargon.
A precise instruction gets a good result from AI, a vague one gets nothing. Writing well has become a technical skill.
He can rephrase a complicated idea for someone meeting it for the first time. That is what makes him a good English teacher at 13.
What he teaches
Teaching was never part of the plan. It happened because he could do it, and because he enjoys it.
Lessons and conversation sessions for teenagers. He corrects pronunciation, unlocks spoken English and gives confidence to those who do not dare to speak.
How to phrase a request to an assistant, how to check what it answers, how to use it to learn faster rather than to cheat.
What makes a game gripping: probability, balancing, progression, reward. An effective way into mathematics for teenagers who find the standard lesson dull.
What he can explain, he really knows.
His activities
Sport is not a hobby in his programme: it is where he learned consistency, effort and respect for a framework. Working in a company, for its part, taught him what a job actually means.

At a club, several times a week. Speed, precision, reading the opponent's game.

Endurance and technique, all year round. The most complete sport in his programme.

Regular immersion in a team that builds artificial intelligence products. Meetings, real tasks, real deliverables, at 13.

A demanding discipline: core strength, cardio, self-control. It teaches you to take a hit and to hold your ground.

Projects run from end to end, from the initial need to something that actually works. Right now, an AI-driven livestream project.

Helping people, being useful, contributing. Part of the programme is set aside for work that pays nothing but meaning. Time spent with his grandparents is part of it.
His travels
Trips designed as formative experiences rather than holidays: languages, transport, meals, people, and ways of doing things that are not his own.
High-speed trains, the sheer scale of the cities.

Strengths and works in progress
An honest profile is worth more than a perfect one. Here are both columns, as they stand today.
He grasps a new idea in very little time, and gets bored quickly if the pace does not keep up.
Clearly above his age group, built on his own, out of pure curiosity.
Solid enough that he teaches it to other young people.
He joins a group, talks to adults, presents and explains without freezing up.
Three regular sports, and energy that does not fade by the end of the day.
When a subject grabs him, he goes very deep, very fast, with nobody pushing him.
With a coach, a team or an adult nearby, he gives his best. On his own in front of a long task, he drifts. Independence is being built; it is not there yet.
Anything without a visible result straight away costs him. Mathematics is the real work in progress this year.
A genuine passion that easily takes over study time. It is treated as ground to make use of, not as an enemy to ban.
He works in bursts rather than steadily. Keeping going over the long run is still something he is learning.
A year surrounded by adults taught him a great deal, but cut him off from his own generation. It is what he misses most, and the priority for the year ahead.
